This is general information about your browser and your connection, and contains no personally identifiable details. We do keep that information indefinitely, but we do not share it with other organizations or companies. Our site contains links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites.

This site uses services from Google including mapping and analytics. Google may collect personal data about our visitors. (Last time we checked, they do not, but you should understand that they may.) There are controls within your browser that allow you to inspect and manage cookies.

Unless you turn off Contact in your profile, other users will be able to email you but not see your email address. When you contact someone via the site contact form, your real email address will be used. Also this site will use that address to contact you for administrative purposes, such as resetting your account password, or notifying you of replies and private messages if you have so indicated in your preferences. We will not sell that address nor share it with other sites.

Certain other sites may attempt to set cookies on your machine as a result of the instant messaging features of the forum software. This is what is referred to as 3rd party cookies and can be controlled by the options of your browser.
